Yeah, it’s pretty close! I put the ridge up a little higher so that his nose doesn’t look quite as jagged/lumpy as Dmitri’s. I love the way you drew both of their expressions. *w* Vahaadi looks soooooooo cool and Spark looks adorable and immature. XD <3

Now i feel like Eugene/Flynn Ryder “They just can’t get my nose right!” LOOK EUGENE NOSES ARE HARD. Everyone always says hands are hard. I think we need to all agree noses are hard. You are particularly good at noses, I noticed this when you drew Elsa and her nose was perfect, even though she has an odd nose.

Yay! I’m glad you like the pic! 😀

Aw haha! Well, I think hands are way harder than noses but maybe it’s because I draw a lot more noses that hands? In theory you probably do too but maybe I’m just more conscientious of them, since I had to break out of drawing anime dots. And, come to think of, when I used to commission artists I remember always looking at how they drew and colored noses. A weird nose style could be a deal breaker for me. I blame/thank Ben Caldwell for teaching me to try different nose shapes since they can really add interest to a face.

    hahah blame/thank

Well… I think I have drawn more hands than noses… mostly because people have two hands and only one nose, but also because I feel SO stifled if I can’t use hands to emphasize an expression. Then, some days, I just go crazy and I draw a whole page of just hands. I have never drawn a whole page of noses. Sorry Ben Caldwell, I have failed you.

Oh my gosh haha good point. XD two hands! Duh. Yeah I remember you used to draw hands with every headshot even if they didn’t really have arms showing. As for me, I spent a long time avoiding hands. Even now, my relaxation doodles are usually only headshots. Once hands come into play, my enjoyment drops significantly. Hands are usually the last detail I lock in, and I feel like I redraw every hand about three times minimum. Ugh. I should do pages of hands! I learned to draw hands in the first place by drawing a finger spellng alphabet. My mom was so impressed. X3 that page I did of Took hands was kind of fun, but I was just copying those, not drawing from my imagination…I need to keep workng at it.

um yes same for everything just replace the word ‘hand’ with ‘foot.’ I drew a page of feet but I was so angry while I was doing it that Cheuk came over and was like “What are you doing, why are you just drawing feet? You look miserable” XD
