My first IPad drawing. This might be my favorite pic I’ve done of Spark, in spite of the weird quality and washed out colors. She kept me company during my long trip home last summer. n_n

Once upon a time I drew Kala as a pony. Her pony name is Chimerical because it sounds like it could be a portmanteau of chimera and chemical and it means “existing only as the product of unchecked imagination : fantastically visionary or improbable” or ” given to fantastic schemes.” Her cutie mark is potion bottle.
The Cost of Love
After reading your epilogue (or continuation, as the case may be) for the Secrets scenario, I was haunted by the implications of Spark’s decision to stay with Vahaadi. It’s true that Vahaadi couldn’t live long in the lush, mild environment of Lunarious–but would Spark fair any better in the wastes of the Azaharian desert?
While I was mulling the idea over, an unexpected voice came into my mind with a potential solution…and a serious price.
Kala holds up a rounded vial. A glowing fluid swirls inside, casting reflections into her sober eyes.
“If you really want to stay with Vahaadi, you may need this,” she says, meeting Spark’s gaze steadily. “It will transform you into a djinni. It may be the only way you’ll survive the harshness of the desert.
But, Spark…
if you drink this, you’ll lose your powers.”
All the Broken Pieces
((background to this scene: Lanthriel was killed in a skirmish when he blocked an attack aimed at Took. Took has an emotional break-down, and Kala and Vahaadi are so devastated they can’t even come to grips with what has happened. Ultimately, it’s Vahaadi who convinces the other two that they will have to burn Lanthriel’s body to keep it from being desecrated by ghouls (flesh-eating wraiths). He prepares to burn the body, but Kala insists that she do it. She sets his body aflame and then the three leave, unable to bear looking back.

Gay is a terrible term for disgust but I couldn’t resist the irony.
After finding out Vahaadi wasn’t exactly a fan, Spark took on the appropriate attitude.
Then she and RD became buddies.
And after watching the show, the gang decided which pony they were most like. Spark = Rainbow Dash, Opal = Fluttershy, Flint = Shining Armor
Much to his chagrin, I drew Vahaadi as a pony too. I unintentionally gave him a girl pony face and he should be a unicorn and not an earth pony but, oh well. XD I think his pony name should be Luster but you vetoed me and called him Wish Granter in your spontaneous fanfic, so, that works too.
Chimera Kala
Just putting up some old stuff of Kala, back when she had goat horns, snake scales, a lion tail and phoenix wings.
Kind of sad I never finished this one. This was for a contest on dA where all we had to do was draw our own OC with the theme “transcendent.” I don’t have the original .psd anymore…this WIP is all I have of it. Sorry she’s awkwardly not wearing any clothes. I didn’t intend her to be in the buff but for some reason I just really wanted to shade her skin and got carried away.
This is mostly stuff for LC but Chimera-Kala is right in the middle so it fits here!
