I got tired of drawing random nonsense for my Design and Color class so I wanted to spice it up with a pic of Spark. I tried to paint a glowing firebomb in her hand and suddenly sea urchin.

Since Spark’s catch phrase is “Light it up!” and the refrain of this song is “We can light it up so they can’t put it out,” I think it needs to be on the Loose Canon playlist.

Rainbow Dash’s rockstar outfits on Krissy and Spark. I just sort of went to town with these crazy designs. Oh and there’s a random picture of Spark that I drew a while back that I finally colored. I drew it for some reason, but I can’t remember the context now.

Chimerical

Once upon a time I drew Kala as a pony. Her pony name is Chimerical because it sounds like it could be a portmanteau of chimera and chemical and it means “existing only as the product of unchecked imagination : fantastically visionary or improbable” or ” given to fantastic schemes.” Her cutie mark is potion bottle.

My library has these amazing books which were written by Glen Keane’s art teacher. I only just discovered them but I am going to upload all the things I find most useful. While we aren’t aiming to be animators necessarily I know we do always strive to be dynamic illustrators, and these are really helpful. This is from the first chapter, Basics.
