Just putting up some old stuff of Kala, back when she had goat horns, snake scales, a lion tail and phoenix wings.
Kind of sad I never finished this one. This was for a contest on dA where all we had to do was draw our own OC with the theme “transcendent.” I don’t have the original .psd anymore…this WIP is all I have of it. Sorry she’s awkwardly not wearing any clothes. I didn’t intend her to be in the buff but for some reason I just really wanted to shade her skin and got carried away.
This is mostly stuff for LC but Chimera-Kala is right in the middle so it fits here!
Hmm. Looking at this it makes me wonder if Lonja would want to be friends with Kala. I think she would, but would feel awkward because she’s not used to making friends and Kala is so much younger. Or, well, she isn’t, but she looks younger.
I dunno, I guess it would depend on what Lonja likes in people? Sad to say (given that she looks so much younger) Kala is essentially a tougher, smarter, more resourceful version of Thystle, so if she liked Thystle, she’d probably like Kala even better because Kala’s better at taking care of herself. But Thystle’s more timid and Kala’s more likely to bite off more than she can chew, so there’s a drawback there. Kala may be able to get herself out of trouble better, but she’s a lot more likely to find herself in trouble in the first place.
Lonja did like Thystle a lot! She didn’t know her long, but Thystle was the reason she volunteered to help Van and Thystle escape in the first place, which was why she betrayed Loucef which is why Took could buy her which is why it all worked out XD So I think she’d want to be Kala’s friend. She’d admire her resilience since that’s a trait Lonja is always trying to have more of now that she’s in a new setting.
