Now, this–THIS is AWESOME. Maybe I’m just caught up on the scene, but I really dig this. I want to hang it on my wall. The style is lineless and relies on shape and value contrast. I think it’s effective because the texture is more prominent in the foreground (on the rocks) than in the back, which is as it should be. It doesn’t just have a texture sitting on top.
